Caller: Intruders stole watch off my wrist

A woman woke up on her couch to find the $5,000 Gucci watch on her wrist missing in the 16900 block of Saybrook Lane at 11 p.m. Sept. 10.

The woman’s lights had been turned on and the TV volume turned on high while the woman slept.

Six bottles of vitamins and a prescription for Lasix were stolen off the kitchen counter. The intruder also left toothbrushes on her nightstand.

The caller said her neighbors break into her house to cook and eat her food and are responsible for this and other thefts.

The police advised her to install a video camera.

Heil Avenue and Beach Boulevard: A caller reported four 12- to 13-year-old kids smoking pot with a pipe behind a store at 9:13 a.m. Friday.

Springdale Street: A caller reported a dog left alone in a van for more than 20 minutes with the windows down on the 15800 block at 2:08 p.m. Saturday. The caller tried to find the owner, but when the police arrived, they couldn’t find the car.

Liberty Avenue: A caller reported a loud party in the 7700 block at 12:44 a.m. Friday. The caller asked the partyers to be quiet and they were for a while. The caller notified police when they became noisy again and requested two officers come by because the crowd was rowdy.

Barton Drive: A caller reported a suspicious person walking around with a lighter and a gallon of gasoline in the 7700 block at 12:46 a.m. Friday.

Talbert Avenue: A caller reported a man in the emergency room was jumped and had his cell phone stolen in the 9900 block at 6:36 a.m. Friday. The victim said the incident happened on Adams Avenue, but didn’t want to file a report.

Vallarta Drive: A caller reported a bomb in a building at 9:54 a.m. Friday. The caller had a foreign accent and hung up. Authorities tried to call him back to no avail.

Warner Avenue: A caller reported a solicitor causing a problem outside of a store in the 7100 block at 11:17 a.m. Saturday. The solicitor has a picture of President Obama with a Hitler mustache. The police notified the caller the man was within his rights because he was not blocking the store or the sidewalk

Goldenwest Street: A caller reported half a dozen people screaming and swearing at a loud party in the 16500 block at 6:13 a.m. Sunday.

Beach Boulevard: A caller reported two men fist-fighting in a restaurant at 1:56 a.m. Friday. One of the men told the caller to get off the phone and tried to fight the caller’s friend. An employee asked the two men to sit down and the caller asked for the check to leave. Before the caller could leave, the two men tried to engage the caller in a fight. One of the men was arrested.

Pacific Coast Highway: A caller reported an assault on her niece in the 300 block at 12:13 a.m. Saturday. An unknown person threw a glass at the girl’s head. The medics were called.

Beach Boulevard: A caller reported an abandoned pit bull puppy outside a grocery store in the 19700 block at 9:57 a.m. Saturday.

Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street: A caller reported a kid whose head had been smashed into the concrete at 6:07 p.m. on Saturday. The caller reported a suspect who was walking a pit bull with a 3-inch stud collar. The police caught the suspect in a parking structure.

Nashville Avenue: A caller reported a possibly drunk stranger trying to get into her house in the 200 block at 3:26 a.m. Sunday. The stranger was trying to get in through the front door.

Ward Street: A caller reported her daughter had stolen four rent checks and the deed to her house in the 19300 block at 4:38 a.m. Friday. The caller also claimed her daughter stole rings and earrings from her. The caller told authorities she entrusted the daughter with the items for safe keeping, because she has a habit of being careless with her items. The police asked the caller to contact her daughter during normal hours.

Merrimac Drive: A caller reporter sunglasses and gift cards missing from a black Toyota Tundra in the 10100 block at 5:52 a.m. Friday.

Van Ness Court: A caller reported a bag of gold chains worth $1,000 missing from her dresser in the 8500 block at 8:12 a.m. Friday. The caller said her screen door is broken and believes her gardeners stole the jewelry. The caller refused to search her house for the bag or contact a family member who was supposed to pick up the items.

Seasprite Circle: A caller reported a laptop stolen out of a white Dodge Ram in the 21200 block Saturday. The vehicle was locked and the rear window was smashed overnight, the caller reported.

El Rey Avenue: A caller reported a domestic dispute in the 9543 block at 11:15 a.m. Monday.

Brookhurst Street and the 405 Freeway: A caller reported a drunk driver at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Brookhurst Street: A caller reported possible elder abuse in the 18525 block at 5:23 p.m. Saturday.

Sunbird: A caller reported hearing shots first in the 8799 block at 8:11 p.m. Saturday.

Brookhurst Street and the 405 Freeway: A caller reported a reckless driver at 10:06 a.m. Saturday.

Magnolia Street and Talbert Avenue: A caller reported a reckless driver at 11:51 p.m. Friday.

Cordata Street: A caller reported a juvenile disturbance in the 18761 block at 8:24 p.m. Friday.

Summerwood Court: A caller reported a missing adult in the 11780 block at 9:38 p.m. Monday.

Warner Avenue and Bushard: A caller reported a drunk driver at 11:26 a.m. Monday.

Euclid Street: A caller reported vandalism in the 17400 block at 2 p.m. Monday.

Slater Avenue: A caller reported forgery in the 10200 block at 3:16 p.m. Monday.

Heil Avenue: A caller reported vandalism in the 11930 block at 5:06 p.m. Monday.

Edinger Avenue: A caller reported a vehicle burglary in the 9080 block at 3:17 a.m. Sunday.

Harbor Boulevard: A caller reported petty theft in the 16201 block at 7:06 a.m. Sunday.

Slater Avenue: A caller reported a juvenile disturbance in the 10101 block at 7:09 p.m. Sunday.

Ward Street and Slater Avenue: A caller reported a fight at 9:32 p.m. Saturday.

Slater Avenue: A caller reported a barking dog in the 10469 block at 6:14 a.m. Saturday.

San Luis Street: A caller reported a suspicious person in the 17318 block at 6:33 a.m. Saturday.
