Snell & Wilmer Adds Intellectual Property Practice Group

The law offices of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. announces the addition of Dan Brecht as an associate to its Costa Mesa office. Brecht’s extensive experience in patent prosecution will be a dynamic addition to the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Brecht’s practice is concentrated in intellectual property protection and litigation of patents and trademarks. While earning his juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School, he was employed as an electrical engineer at two reputable engineering firms in Los Angeles. Brecht received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001.

Along with being a member of the State Bar of California and U.S. District Court, Brecht is licensed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Brecht’s experience as a Professional Engineer has ignited his passion for technology, as it relates to the law, making him proficient in the field of prosecuting patents for medical devices.
