The little Church with the Giving Heart Throws a party!

St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, the Little Church with the Giving Heart at 183 E Bay St. in Costa Mesa will be holding it’s 1st ever Festival of St. Francis on October 3rd , 2009 from Noon to 5:00pm . The day will be filled with good food, games for the kids, bake sale and a real chance for the neighborhood community to get together and get to know each other. The Festival will highlight animal and pet information from various rescues and adoption groups and how to get in contact with them. We will also have information about all the projects that the church does within the community and how the community may get involved.

There will be a raffle with loads of great prizes, as well as a Bingo to cap off the festival starting at around 5:30 and goes till the last game is played. There will be great prizes for the Bingo including 2 tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood. On Sunday morning at 10:00am there will be a service outside on the Parrish lawn to bless the neighborhood animals and pets.. All are welcome and please bring your pets for this special occasion

The St. John Family hopes that the community will come down and visit us and have a great time celebrating their pets and get to know the little church with the giving heart in their neighborhood.
