Huntington Beach is playing host to another surfing competition, but youngsters are going to have to sit this one out — seniors only.

The Southland Senior Olympics Surfing Competition is looking for people 50 or older who can catch a wave. The competition is at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 31 on the south side of the pier.

Surfers will be judged on their maneuvers, fluidity, style and wave selection, and medals will be awarded for first through third place.
