Farmar provides clinic

Jordan Farmar, entering his fourth season as a guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, will conduct a free basketball skills clinic tonight from 6 to 8 at the Newport Coast Community Center.

Farmar, a former UCLA star, will provide instruction for players ages 9 to 12 who are part of Aim High Hoops, an Amateur Athletic Union team for which Corona del Mar High boys’ basketball coach Ryan Schachter and assistant Jason Simco are executive advisors. The community center is located at 6401 San Joaquin Hills Road in Newport Coast.
