SAN CLEMENTE — The Eagles clinched the outright Golden West League championship Tuesday at the Carnoustie course at Bella Collina Towne and Golf Club.

The Eagles and Breakers had shared the title the last two years. Senior Kim Haycraft shot a nine-over-par 45 to lead Estancia (17-2, 9-0 in league) on the difficult course. Ashley Peters (48), Jeana de Arakal (51), Cassie Stevenson and Lissa Morel (both 54) also scored.

“I think we had a little bit more depth than they did,” Estancia Coach Art Perry said. “Our JV team is really good, too. We have a lot of talent coming back.”

Laguna Beach senior Grace Komoroczy (42) was medalist.

NEWPORT BEACH — Morgan Moody shot five-over-par 41 to earn medalist honors and help the undefeated Sailors clinch the Sunset League championship Tuesday at Big Canyon Country Club.

Lindsey Hanna (46), Charlotte Skjonsby (45), Ali Thomas (49) and Casey Jones (50) also scored for the Sailors (17-0, 9-0 in league).

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Caitlin Shinohara shot seven-over-par 43 to earn medalist honors for the winners in the Pacific Coast League match Monday at San Juan Hills Country Club.

Grace Kim (44), Tess Crane (45), Hyebin Hong (45) and Amanda Johnson (46) also scored for CdM (12-6, 7-2 in league).

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Christina Young and Ricki Archie, the Sailors’ No. 1 doubles team, swept and remained undefeated in Sunset League play, improving to 17-0 Tuesday.

Alex Aiello and Riley Mathies, the No. 2 doubles team, also swept for Newport Harbor (10-3, 5-0 in league).

LAGUNA HILLS — Seniors Kelli Feeley and Azadeh Nazemi dropped just one game for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match Tuesday.

After dropping their first set of the season, 6-4, to Campbell Hall’s No. 1 team Feeley and Nazemi have won 17 in row since to improve to 17-1.

CdM (12-1, 6-0) also beat San Juan Hills, 18-0, Monday.
