Ann Rawlings

Ann Rawlings died peacefully at home on October 15th. Born Ann Sherwin in Casper Wyoming in 1934, Ann moved with her family at age 8 to Long Beach, California. Educated at Long Beach State University with a degree in teaching, she married fellow classmate Gary Rawlings in 1955. Ann and Gary moved to Orange County in 1961. After raising their daughter, Andrea, Ann went to work at Merrill Lynch where she worked for over 25 years as a broker’s assistant. Ann had a passion for tennis enjoying many a game at the Marriott Tennis Club, and gardening which lead her to many years of volunteering at the Sherman Library and Gardens. She is the loved and cherished mother to Andrea and mother-in-law to E.J. Remson. A gathering will be held in her memory on Saturday, Oct 24, at 4:30 at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar. In her memory donations may be made to Michael J.
