Event raises money for after-school program

Art, wine and food are coming together for kids at a fundraiser Nov. 8 at the Shorebreak Hotel’s 2nd Sunday event. The event will raise money for THINK Together, a Southern California after-school learning program.

The event takes place on the second Sunday of every month at the hotel on Pacific Coast Highway by the Huntington Beach Pier. Different art pieces are displayed and auctioned off, and wine and appetizers are served as a fundraiser for a different charity each month.

For November, the Surf Gallery Laguna Beach will display some of its art pieces. Zimzala will serve appetizers, and Coppola Diamond Series will provide wine.

Admission is $10 and includes two wine tickets and a plate of appetizers. To make a reservation, go to www.thinktogether.org/WineEvent. The event is from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Shorebreak Hotel in the Strand.
