Terminators Slay Golden Dragons

The Terminators played a terrific game in their opening playoff match. Adrian Plazola and Liam Jason assisted each other in the first half to combine for 4 goals. Their well timed passes and field vision were a thing of beauty. Andy Garcia weaved his way through the defenders for his first goal of the season. Gabriel Lindsey continued the scoring with a powerful goal to open the second half. Owen Maldonado, who held the Golden Dragons scoreless in the first half as goalkeeper, scored his first goal of the season on a skilled attack and shot. Darius Sobhi and Joey Wakely repeatedly attacked the Golden Dragon goalkeeper Conor Halloran and Conor and defender Henry Campbell rejected all their scoring attempts. Joey and Darius were hustling the entire game. Liam Jason preserved the shutout in the second half in goal and all the Terminators celebrated the resounding victory. Adam Campbell and Nathan Hayes, valuable team members all season, were unable to attend the game due to illness.
