Police seek nighttime prowler

Police are seeking a man who has reportedly followed a number of women home from downtown Huntington Beach and fondled them.

Four women have complained about the man since August, Lt. Mike Reynolds said. The man is described as a Latino between the ages of 20 and 30, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9 and 180 to 200 pounds, with a clean-shaven face, prominent cheekbones, crooked teeth and slicked-back hair.

The man has targeted women who are walking home alone from downtown late at night and engaged them in conversation, then groped them, Reynolds said. In one case, he entered a woman’s home through an open or unlocked entrance and fondled her.
