COSTA MESA — Senior forward Rachel Copeland set a school single-game record with 45 points in the nonconference home game Tuesday.

Copeland made 17 of 25 field-goal attempts, 10 of 11 inside three-point range, and four of five from the foul line to pace the winners (2-0). Copeland had six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 32 minutes.

Miljana Cejic, a senor transfer from UC Irvine, had 12 points and a team-best seven rebounds. She made five of seven field-goal attempts.

Junoir Molly Pfohl and senior Diana Neves had 11 points apiece for the Lions.
