Eatery organizes canned food drive
A restaurant at Fashion Island is sponsoring a “5 for 10” food drive to help feed needy people through Dec. 18.
The Daily Grill is offering a $10 gift card in exchange for every five cans of food donated, according to a news release from Fashion Island.
The canned goods then will be sent to the Orange County Food Bank.
The gift cards can be redeemed at any Daily Grill Jan. 1 through Feb. 28.
The restaurant has 22 locations in eight states.
The Daily Grill at Fashion Island is at 957 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.
