Editor Brady Rhoades leaves Daily Pilot

Daily Pilot editor Brady Rhoades has left the paper after two and a half years.

Rhoades had been director of editorial content at the Daily Pilot — as well as at the Coastline Pilot and the Huntington Beach Independent — since October 2008.

Dan Evans, editor of the Glendale News-Press, Burbank Leader and La Cañada Valley Sun, has stepped in as acting editor for the three Orange County papers.

Times Community News, which owns the six titles, has begun a search for a new, permanent editor.
