Calling all potential Miss H.B. applicants

Anyone who has ever wanted a crown will have an opportunity to win money and represent Huntington Beach at the 2010 Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant.

The contest is open to women who live or work in Huntington Beach and are between 17 and 24 years old. The winner and her court will receive scholarships, and Miss Huntington Beach will have the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss California in June.

Applications must be turned in by the orientation meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 in Room B-7 in the Civic Center on Main Street. For more information, go to www.misshb.org.
