Warmth shared in ‘Spark’

Local families donated toys for needy children for a chance to ride the Polar Express train and meet Santa Claus on Saturday at Fairview Park.

Donated toys from the event will go to ABC-7’s Spark of Love program.

Spark of Love is a joint collaboration with fire departments all over Southern California and with ABC Channel 7. All toys that are distributed in Orange County go through a single warehouse to organizations that apply through the Toy Collaborative.

In its fourth year, the Polar Express family event is sponsored by Weichman Associates-Realtors.
