Laker Girls, Clipper Girls and Pro Athletes Transform into Santa’s Little Helpers to Bring Holiday Cheer to Under Privileged Youth
Continuing a holiday tradition, St. Joseph Hospital Physical Rehabilitation Services proudly hosted the 11th Annual Kids Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Special guests in attendance included the Laker Girls, the Clipper girls, a Major League Soccer player and Santa.
More than 70 low income children between the ages of five and 15 from the Garden Grove Boys and Girls Clubs and a center for abused women attended the holiday festivities.
Children and St. Joseph Hospital staff sang Christmas carols, made holiday crafts, and played games. Lunch and gifts, including socks and shoes, were provided to the children. Hospital employees were also encouraged to donate gifts and toys for the event.
