CORONA DEL MAR — Diana Murphy scored four goals for the Sea Kings in the nonleague game Saturday.

Margot Money added three goals, while Pippa Saunders and Ally McCormick each had two goals for CdM (2-2).

Alex Musselman led the Sea Kings with seven saves.

Irvine tournament

COSTA MESA — Estancia defeated Capistrano Valley, 2-1, and lost to La Quinta of La Quinta, 2-0, Saturday at Estancia High.

Gustavo Gutierrez and Ricardo Esquivel had goals in the win for the Eagles (1-3-3).

Aliso Cup

ALISO NIGUEL — Newport Harbor High tied two opponents Saturday at Aliso Niguel High.

The Sailors (1-2-3) opened with a 0-0 tie with Buena of Ventura.

Mary Yeager scored on an assist from Gillian Hogan in the Tars’ 1-1 tie with Upland.

Brianna Schwartz, Shanay Fischer and Yeager each had multiple shots on goal.

WRESTLING

Magnolia Tournament

ANAHEIM – Corona del Mar High’s Danny Busch went 9-0 in the 152-pound division of the dual-team tournament Saturday.

Busch led the tournament with 54 takedowns, recording one pin. He beat wrestlers from Magnolia, Katella, Troy, Sonora, Brea, Wilson, Millikan, Sunny Hills and Western.

Irvine Tournament

IRVINE — Newport Harbor’s Ryan Cerrato (152 pounds) and Rene Escolero (215) each finished third, both going 3-1 in the tournament Saturday at Irvine High.
