Newport Beach police have released photos of two men wanted in a Dec. 8 home-invasion robbery at the Newport Coast mansion of a high-profile former subprime lender.

Both Ronnie Labert Morrissette, 34, and Darrin Mucker, 38, have $1-million warrants out for their arrests in connection with a violent robbery at the home of subprime lender Daniel Sadek, who lives in an exclusive Newport Coast gated community.

Sadek was the founder of the failed subprime mortgage lender Quick Loan Funding Corp. The firm collapsed in 2007.

Police say Morrissette and Mucker used guns to force their way into Sadek’s home, along with one other man, after using a gate pass to gain entry to the gated community.

The men tied up nine people who were inside Sadek’s mansion that night and beat them with the butts of their guns, police claim. The men then proceeded to steal watches, wallets, cell phones, cash and other valuables.

Three other suspects involved in the case are already in police custody, charged with multiple counts of robbery, kidnapping and assault with a firearm.

Anyone with information about Morrissette or Mucker’s whereabouts are asked to call Newport Beach police at (800) 550-NBPD.
