Play time on Balboa

Winter registration has started for the city of Newport Beach’s infant/todder and preschool classes -- ages 6 weeks to 4 years old -- taught at

a community center on Balboa Island. The class is an institution in Newport Beach and has been taught by Terie Hanson, aka “Miss Terie” for the past 20 years. Moms usually get together afterward and walk around the island. Some activities include: music, parachute play and story time. The program begins in early January and runs through late March.
