Fisher & Phillips Irvine Office Adds New Partner
IRVINE, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2010) – Fisher & Phillips LLP has announced the election to partner of Rafael G. Nendel-Flores at the national labor and employment law firm’s Irvine, Calif. office. The promotion was effective Jan. 1.

McDonald, managing partner of the Irvine office of Fisher & Phillips. “Rafael’s expertise and leadership will continue allowing us to provide greater service to our clients in the increasingly complex field of labor and employment law.”
Nendel-Flores focuses his practice on defending employers in complex litigation matters, including wage-hour class actions, unemployment insurance tax controversies, multi-plaintiff/multi-defendant actions and appellate litigation. He has significant experience representing employers before federal and state administrative agencies such as the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Nendel-Flores also provides employers with preventive counseling regarding day-to-day employment matters. He earned his juris doctorate with honors in 2002 from The George Washington University Law School, where he was articles editor of The George Washington Law Review as well as a Dean’s Fellow. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University, graduating in three years.
