Fundraiser for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans

918 RECORDING ARTISTS “ATTACKHEAD” TO DONATE 50% OF ALL CD SALES DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY TO THE IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN VETERANS OF AMERICA (IAVA)

The Southern California heavy metal band, “Attackhead” will be supporting Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) to help raise funds for our Veterans. Attackhead is donating fifty (50) percent of all profits from the sales of its CD’s during the month of February to the non-profit organization. Attackhead will also donate $1.00 for every new follower to their Twitter page for the month of February up to $200.00.

The decision to partner with the IAVA came after Mark Chapman, lead singer/guitarist of Attackhead, saw IAVA founder and Veteran Paul Rieckhoff on Real time with Bill Maher. Attackhead had already been performing for the military for free and thought teaming up with the IAVA would be a great way to help our Veterans. “Attackhead is proud to support the work of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.” said Chapman.

Attackhead was formed in late 2002 by Chapman. The band has been described as “skull crushing heavy metal with an old school edge.” Attackhead self-produced their debut CD “Voices in the Dark.” in 2008. Attackhead has performed for the US Army, US Marines and US Navy at various bases in the Southern California area.
