COSTA MESA — Bridgette Reyes scored 23 points for the No. 4-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.

Rachel Copeland added 17 points and Paige Halberg scored 10 points for Vanguard (9-1, 5-1 in conference).

The Lions built a 43-28 lead in the first half, when they shot 42% from the field.

William Thompson had 13 points and Greg Scott added 11 points for Vanguard (4-8, 3-3 in conference).

The Lions outrebounded San Diego Christian, 46-34.
