Seniors have art class opportunities

Seniors can discover great art and learn about the lives and influences of the people behind the works in an educational program through the Center at Founders Village Senior and Community Center.

Collage of Artists will explore the lives, works of art and influences of artists throughout history like Michelangelo, Georgia O’Keefe and Dale Chihuly. The eight-week course is hosted by the Huntington Beach Adult School for those 55 and older. During the course, students will have the opportunity to take a field trip to a local museum. The classes will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the center at 17967 Bushard St. in Fountain Valley. The course begins Jan. 27 and cost $49.
