Police are getting no help in their investigation from two victims of a stabbing over the weekend, officials said Monday.

About 7:50 p.m. Sunday, two men were stabbed while at a house in the 100 block at 21st Street in Costa Mesa, said Lt. Mark Manley.

The men did not tell police what happened or why they were attacked.

The two men took themselves to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, and then were taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. The wounds were not life-threatening, Manley said.

Police said the men were not helping in their investigation, but that won’t stop police from trying to find out what happened.

Though the men are not helping, it’s very rare someone would be charged with obstruction of justice under these kinds of circumstances, said Sgt. Phil Myers.
