Orange County residents should brace themselves on Wednesday for the third, and what is expected to be the biggest, of storms rolling through this week. The National Weather Service has issued wind, surf and flood warnings for a third straight day.

The storm is expected to pass through the coastal cities, including Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, late in the afternoon and into the night, according to a bulletin from the weather service. A coastal flood warning is in effect from noon until tomorrow, with between one and one and a half inches of rain expected by tonight.
