Law expert will discuss divorce preparations
Newport Beach family law expert Karen Rhyne will speak Saturday at a free workshop called “What Women Need to Know about Divorce in a Down Economy.”
The 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. event at Merrill Lynch, 4695 MacArthur Court, Suite 1500, will help women prepare emotionally and financially for divorce.
Speakers at the event also will include a financial advisor and a counselor.
Rhyne earned her juris doctorate degree from Western State University School of Law.
She has been a certified family law specialist since 1990.
The event is sponsored by the Women’s Institute of Financial Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial education to women.
