HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Rene Escolero was one of five Sailors to earn wins in the Sunset League match Thursday.

Escolero scored a 9-6 win against Tyler Smith in the 215-pound division. Freshman Larson Harley, a 112-pounder, won, 5-2, for Newport Harbor (5-7, 0-3 in league).

Junior Ryan Cerrato pinned his opponent in 2:34 for a win in 160s.

In the 171-pound division, senior Nathan Dickey won with a technical fall, 19-3.

Junior Bradley Beaudette, a 189-pounder, recorded a pin in 3:07.

IRVINE — Pippa Saunders scored four goals for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Wednesday.

Margot Money added three goals, while Cassidy Papa had three assists, three steals and one goal for CdM (12-6, 2-0 in league). Goalie Alex Musselman had eight saves and two steals.

The Sea Kings will play host to University Wednesday.
