Bucknam named CAI-OC president for 2011

Wendy Bucknum of Professional Community Management, Inc. (PCM), the Managing Agent of Laguna Woods Village, was unanimously selected by the Orange County Regional Chapter of Community Associations Institute on January 13, 2009 to serve as President-Elect for 2011. Ms. Bucknum is in her third year of serving on this organization’s board of directors, serves as chair of the Legislative Support Committee, and is on the California Associations Institute’s California Legislative Action Committee.
Ms. Bucknum has more than 15 years of community management experience at PCM and her industry designations include the Association Management Specialist designation from California Associations Institute. To earn this designation, managers must have at least two years in community association management and complete advanced course work. Ms. Bucknum’s certifications also include the California Associations Institute’s National Certified Manager of Community Associations. She was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by the Orange County Regional Chapter of Community Associations Institute in 2008.
