NEWPORT BEACH — Kate Klippert collected four goals, three assists and two steals to lead the host Sailors in the Sunset League game Monday.

Colleen McCall had three goals and one assist, Kailyn Obenauer had three goals and Katie Jackson had two goals and two assists for the winners (14-6), ranked No. 2 in CIF Southern Section Division I.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — The visiting Sailors rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie it, but the Vikings scored in the second overtime of the Sunset League game Monday.

Mary Yeager converted an assist from Natalie Swift for the Tars’ first goal.

Gillian Hogan assisted Megan Khademi’s equalizer, in the final 10 minutes of regulation.

Newport Harbor, which had 24 shots to Marina’s seven, is 4-6-5, 2-1-1 in league.

Marina is 4-6-2, 2-2-0.
