CORONA DEL MAR — Clayton Ragsdale scored 22 points to lead the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday night.

Chris Freeman added 12 points, while Danny Cheek had 10 points for CdM (18-3, 6-0 in league), ranked No. 7 in CIF Southern Section Division III-A.

Parker Stone finished with seven points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Sea Kings, who will play at Irvine Friday at 7 p.m.

NEWPORT BEACH — Junior Cody Caldwell scored 21 points for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Austin Bagby had 14 points for Newport Harbor (10-11, 2-3 in league), which plays host to Fountain Valley Friday at 7 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — The Sea Kings dropped a Pacific Coast League match on Tuesday after allowing a goal with six minutes left.

Coach Bryan Middleton said CdM and Laguna Hills played even until the game-winner.

Savannah Vaughn made three saves for the Sea Kings (9-8-3, 3-3 in league). CdM had six shots on goal.

The Sea Kings are at Irvine on Thursday at 5 p.m.

NEWPORT BEACH — Junior Jesus Sotelo scored a 4-2 win in overtime in the 130-pound division and was one of six winners for the Sailors in the nonleague win Tuesday.

Junior Jess Bowler (145) recorded a pin in 5:20. Junior Ryan Cerrato (152) also won by pin in 2:50, as did senior John Leyva (160) in 1:51.

Senior Nathan Dickey (171) earned a technical fall, winning, 20-1, and senior Rene Escolero (215) earned a 3-1 victory.

Newport Harbor (5-9) will play host to Fountain Valley on Thursday.

CORONA DEL MAR — Caroline van der Velde had seven points for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday night.

CdM (12-10, 2-4 in league) will play at Irvine Friday.

NEWPORT BEACH — Alex Morton had 23 points and 18 rebounds for the host Sailors in the Sunset League game Monday.

Kasey Thompson had eight points and five rebounds and Coleen Mead had six assists, three points and three rebounds for the Tars (9-12, 1-4).

Maiquel Mcleish helped hold Edison star Bonnie Samuelson, who came in averaging 28 points, to 13 points, including just three field goals, Newport Coach Justin Long said.

Newport Harbor visits Fountain Valley Thursday.
