Law Firm Rutan & Tucker, LLP Matches Employee Donations to American Red Cross Haiti Relief Efforts

A donation totaling over $17,000 to help fund Haiti relief efforts was recently given to the American Red Cross of Orange County by the employees and management of Costa Mesa-based Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County.

The combined donation represented individual employee gifts made via check and online to the American Red Cross and other charitable organizations involved in the relief effort that were then matched by the firm. Cynthia Mascio, a senior paralegal at the firm, spearheaded the employee donation drive.

“We are very appreciative of the generous donation given by Rutan & Tucker and its employees to help with Haiti relief efforts,” said Stanley Perdue, chief executive officer of the American Red Cross of Orange County.

“On behalf of the firm, I want to thank our employees for their generosity and in particular Cynthia for her efforts in organizing the donation drive,” said Ski Harrison, the firm’s managing partner. “I know this money will be put to good use by the American Red Cross in assisting the courageous people of Haiti in their efforts to rebuild their country.”
