IRVINE — The Sea Kings clinched a CIF Southern Section playoff berth with their Pacific Coast League win at Las Lomas Community Park Tuesday.

Nikki Flinn, Maddie O’Connor and Karsten Sigband each scored for CdM (11-8-3, 5-3 in league). Rachel Kerce had an assist and Emily Krebs set up a penalty kick that O’Connor put away.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors Elizabeth Eddy and Gillian Hogan combined for nine shots in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Natalie Swift, Courtney McIntosh and Shannon Boler led Newport Harbor’s defense against the unbeaten Aztecs (16-0-3, 5-0-1 in league). Emily Browne had five saves for the Sailors (4-9-5, 2-4-1).

Estancia 1, Laguna Beach 1

LAGUNA BEACH — Jill Beck scored for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Heather Flores assisted on Beck’s goal after a corner kick by Nushin Tasbihchi in the 45th minute. Laguna Beach scored in injury time.

Estancia (11-7-3, 4-1-2 in league) finishes second behind Calvary Chapel.

CYPRESS — Mark Loper had 17 points for the Lightning in their Academy League game Tuesday.

TJ Danner added 10 points, while Frank Shapiro (nine points) and Connor Gaughan (eight points) grabbed 10 rebounds each for Sage Hill (15-5, 5-2 in league).

NEWPORT BEACH — Alex Morton had 24 points and 20 rebounds for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday night.

Coleen Mead had eight points and three assists for Newport Harbor (9-14, 1-6 in league).

IRVINE — Katie Bergsma scored 12 points for the Sea Kings in their Pacific Coast League game Tuesday.

Saylor Schroff hit two three-pointers and finished with eight points for CdM (13-11, 3-5 in league).

CYPRESS — Ava Soleimany had 14 points for the Lightning in their Academy League game Tuesday.

Hannah Jeffrey finished with 19 rebounds and nine points for Sage Hill (8-9, 3-4 in league).
