Laguna ties to Ahmanson Production

Former Laguna Beach long time resident, Dave Schaar (Diamond Crestiview resident and local realtor) is an investor in “The 39 Steps”...the hysterical remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s spy thriller. The play won two tony awards and was the longest running non musical on Broadway in the past 8 years. Its like Carol Burnett does Hitchcock......a complete spoof full of slapstick and an amazing cast of four who on stage become a cast of over 150 personalities. The road production comes to Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Theater beginning in late April 2010 and its running for three weeks. Dave Schaar is now retired and living in Pasadena.
