CYPRESS — Brad Fisher won in No. 1 singles play Tuesday, but the Pirates dropped their first match of the season.

Matt Miller and Jesse Chen won in No. 2 doubles for OCC (6-1, 2-1 in Orange Empire Conference).

BASEBALL

UC Irvine 11, Rikkyo 4 IRVINE — Tommy Reyes went three for three with three runs batted in during the Anteaters’ exhibition game Tuesday against a team from Japan that used wooden bats.

Jonathan Hurst went three for five with two RBIs for UCI.

Ryan Fisher went three for four with and drove in a run for the Anteaters.
