Group hears from city leaders

City officials will speak at a community meeting tonight for Huntington Beach Tomorrow.

Huntington Beach Tomorrow is a citizens group dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in Huntington Beach.

Mayor Cathy Green will present the City Council’s 2010 goals at the meeting, and City Administrator Fred Wilson will also talk about the city’s 2009 accomplishments and 2010 objectives.

Charter Review Commission Chairman Dick Harlow and Commissioner Mark Bixby will discuss the changes the commission has recommended to the city’s Charter.

The organization will also hold elections for its directors and officers.

The meeting is from 7 to 9 tonight in Room C of the Huntington Beach Central Library.
