NEWPORT BEACH PLAZA HOSTS A DOWNSIZING SEMINAR AND LUNCH – PLEASE BE OUR GUEST.

On Saturday April 17 from 11:30 to 1:30, Newport Beach Plaza Retirement Community will be hosting a Barbecue and a seminar focusing on “Downsizing to Smaller Quarters.” As we all know, moving to a retirement community is often extremely desirable as people find they no longer wish to drive, shop for groceries, do the dishes or keep house. Learning the skill of downsizing from the experts is very valuable and takes much of the strain off of the whole family. One of our presenters, Nancy Giaimo, is the owner of Changing Spaces. Nancy will speak about organizing for the move and disposing of unwanted items, and about three service plans that she offers for that purpose. Don De Grote is a realtor with First Team and he specializes in helping seniors sell their home so they can move to smaller living quarters, where they have less responsibility and more time to have fun. John Owings, of Helping Hands Relocation, is an expert in packing, downsizing one’s possessions and transporting them safely to your new home. Lisa Johnson is the owner of Coastal Secure Shredding, a paper shredding company. She will demonstrate how to safely shred your old documents and dispose of them all in one easy step.

Newport Beach Plaza is a Retirement Community offering independent living, and moderate assisted living services. We are located 3 blocks from Hoag Hospital and a quarter of a mile from Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean. For over 20 years we have offered “Better Living Than Ever” to seniors over 62 years of age. Please drop in and see us at 1455 Superior Avenue, Newport Beach, CA 92663.
