AREA 3

18th Street: A burglary was reported when a laptop computer, guitars and an amplifier, worth about $8,000, were stolen from a garage in the 400 block at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.

Second Street and Walnut Avenue: A charcoal-gray four-door Nissan Altima with only rear plates was reported stolen at 1:37 a.m. Saturday.

Main Street: A petty theft was reported when a man attempting to steal clothing by hiding them in his backpack was stopped in the 100 block at 6:38 p.m. Saturday. The man ran off and left the backpack behind while his friends who were still inside the store were detained and questioned.

Main Street: A caller reported cash, a gold necklace and a laptop missing after discovering an unlocked bathroom window with the screen removed in the 600 block at 12:22 a.m. Saturday.

North 17th Street and Pacific Coast Highway: A caller reported a person in a black car waving a knife at him/her due to road rage at 3:49 p.m. Saturday.

Huntington Street: A misdemeanor assault was reported when a female punched a man in the eye in the 400 block at 9:09 p.m. Friday.

19th Street and Walnut Avenue: A misdemeanor assault was reported when a large aluminum can hit a female as a result of being thrown out of a vehicle at 5:10 p.m. Friday.

Lochlea Lane: A caller reported a missing pair of shoes at 10:50 a.m. Sunday. A neighbor said they witnessed the newspaper deliveryman take the stolen property.

Beach Boulevard: A caller reported a group of males trying to steal a security golf cart in the 21200 block at 1:23 a.m. Sunday.

Brookhurst Street: A juvenile disturbance was reported from a photography studio at 1:07 a.m. Saturday.

Magnolia Street: A vehicle burglary was reported from a major appliance retail store at 8:10 a.m. Friday.

Brookhurst Street: A commercial burglary was reported from a supermarket at 9:45 a.m. Friday.

AREA 6

La Alameda Avenue: A missing adult was reported at 1:11 p.m. Sunday.

Margarita Avenue: Shots were reported at 12:07 a.m. Sunday.

Brookhurst Street and Warner Avenue: Drunk driving was reported at 3:49 p.m. Sunday.
