DAVIS — Senior first baseman Jeff Cusick homered and drove in four runs to help the Anteaters complete a three-game Big West Conference road sweep Sunday.

Senior Eric Pettis allowed three runs in eight innings to improve to 6-2, lifting UCI to 24-13, 8-4 in conference.

UCI has sole possession of second place, two games behind Cal State Fullerton.

Davis fell to 16-19, 2-7.

Cusick is batting .396 with six home runs, 41 runs batted in, a .626 slugging percentage and a .476 on-base percentage. His 130 career RBIs rank fourth in school annals.

UCI visits No. 5-ranked UCLA tonight at 6.
