Laguna Beach Garden Club Presents ‘Amateur Rose Show’

On Friday, May 14, the Laguna Beach Garden Club presents Rosarian Bonnie Andrews detailing her expertise on how roses are judged in professional rose shows here in Southern California.

Bonnie Andrews, past president of The Rose Society of Saddleback Mountain and an accredited rose judge, grows about 200-300 roses in her coastal Laguna Beach garden. She will share her knowledge of how to fertilize and grow beautiful roses, worthy of exhibition prize categories.

Does size really matter in the novice class? Find out for yourself at the Amateur Rose Show. Come for the fun, when garden club members have their own entries judged on form, color, substance, stem/foliage, balance/proportion, and size.
