NEWPORT BEACH — Mike Moorhead, John Davenport and Jono Keedy all shot two-over-par 37 to share medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League dual match against visiting San Juan Hills Wednesday at Newport Beach Country Club.

The win clinched at least a share of the league title for the Sea Kings (17-1, 9-0 in league), who can win the title outright with a win today against Beckman at Tustin Ranch Country Club.

Steve Bruno and Brian Mull both shot 39 to round out the CdM scorers Wednesday.

COSTA MESA — Sophomore Jake Knapp shot one-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League match Wednesday at Costa Mesa Country Club’s Mesa Linda course.

Junior Ramirez (35), Jake Stone (41), Aaron Wood (44) and Spencer Roberts (46) also scored for Estancia (7-3 in league).

NEWPORT BEACH — Zach Eddy shot one-under-par 35 to earn medalist honors in the Sunset League match at Big Canyon Country Club Wednesday.

Ericson Klein (38), Travis Russell (39), Mychael Clark (43) and Marcus Kiel (44) also scored for Newport (15-4, 7-2 in league).

Beckman 52

IRVINE — The Sea Kings’ Jared Namba won two events, and broke the school record in the 100-yard backstroke in 52.46 seconds in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

John Kim won the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke in 59.32, while Matt Berry won the 50 and 100 freestyle events for the Sea Kings.

Michael Liao won the 200 freestyle in 1 minute, 47.67 seconds.

Godinez 89, Estancia 81

COSTA MESA — Asher Twardowski and Conner Graham won two events each and were a part of two winning relays for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League meet Wednesday.

Twardowski won the 200-yard individual medley and the 500 freestyle. Graham won the 50 free and the 100 breaststroke.

IRVINE — Brynne Wong won the 100-yard butterfly and the 50 freestyle for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

Pippa Saunders won the 100 free.

Newport Harbor 84,

NEWPORT BEACH — Titus Hassan won the 100 meters, the 200 and contributed to a 1,600 relay win to pace the host Sailors in the Sunset League meet Wednesday.

Austin Little won the 1,600 and 3,200, while Newport Harbor teammate Dylan Murphy won the 300 intermediate and 110 high hurdles.

Mark Sakioka won the pole vault with a mark of 14 feet, 6 inches.

Ryan Andrews won the shot (56-3 1/2 ) and is one of six Sailors to have thrown at least 50 feet this season. The latter is a first for longtime throwing coach Tony Ciarelli.

Steve Michaelson won the discus (168-3), edging fellow Sailor Ethan Cochran (167-9).

The Sailors wrap up the league dual-meet season 3-2.

IRVINE — Blake Myers and Austin Blodgett won two events each for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

Myers won the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 4.8 seconds and the 1,600 in 4:34.1, while Blodgett took first in the 110 high hurdles in 15.5 and 300 intermediate hurdles in 41.2.

Dave Weiland won the 400 in 53.5 and Jim Roney won the shot put (42 feet, 2 1/2 inches).

LAGUNA BEACH — Corbin Kay won two events for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League meet Wednesday.

Kay won the shot put (42 feet, 8 inches) and the discus (118-7).

IRVINE — Jaycee Olsen won three events for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

Olsen won the 200 meters in 26.5 seconds and also took first place in the shot put (36 feet, 7 1/2 inches) and the discus (126-5).

Ali Hummelberg won the 400 in 1 minute, 1.4 seconds, Sarah Keddington won the 800 in 2:22.9, Melanie Powers won the 1,600 in 5:10.9, Marisa Cummings was first in the 3,200 in 11:36.5, Leila Pozin was first in the 300 hurdles in 48.4 and Natalie Rempalski won the triple jump (29-10 1/2 ).

Laguna Beach 57

LAGUNA BEACH — Kaitlin Yamamoto won three events for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League meet Wednesday.

Yamamoto won the pole vault, 100-meter hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Rachel Daley (triple jump and high jump) and Marilyn Armstrong (200 and long jump) were both double winners. Armstrong produced a personal record in the long jump, 16 feet, 1 1/2 inches.

Jennifer Daley won the 400. Punua Fesili won the discus (92-0), while Catalina Lay won the shot put (31-2) and Hunter Strodel took first in the 1,600 in 5:35.

NEWPORT BEACH — Melissa Hancock won the high jump and the long jump to lead the host Sailors in the Sunset League dual meet Wednesday.

Freshman Maggie Goodson won the 3,200 meters in 11 minutes, 49.6 seconds, while Kasey Thompson (32 feet, five inches in the shot put) and Tabitha Goff (107-9 in the discus) also won events for the Tars (0-5).
