Piecemakers County Store, 1720 Adams Ave., Costa Mesa — Mother’s Day Tea and Make-It-&-Take-It Tea Cup Pincushion, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9. For $20 make a tea cup pincushion and enjoy tea and homemade shortbread cookies.

South Coast Plaza — On May 8 and 9 all moms who stop by a concierge or valet location will receive a complimentary rose.

Costa Mesa Marriott, 500 Anton Blvd. — “Mother’s Day Getaway” for weekends throughout the month of May. It comes with a $30 food-and-beverage credit, a $25 South Coast Plaza gift certificate and free self parking.

Hornblower Cruises & Events, 2431 W. Pacific Coast Hwy. — Mother’s Day Cruises on May 9. An early cruise boarding at 9:30 a.m. and goes from 10 a.m. to noon and a late cruise boarding at 1:30 p.m. and goes from 2 to 4 p.m. It’s a two-hour yacht cruise, with a brunch buffet, including champagne and sparkling cider, and soda, juice, coffee and tea, and live entertainment. There is a Dinner Cruise boarding at 6 p.m. and goes from 6:30 to 9 p.m. There’s a three-course dinner, a glass of champagne, wine and cocktails for purchase, deejay entertainment and dancing. Brunch cruises are $72 and dinner cruises are $87.95, plus tax and gratuity charges.

Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa, 3050 Bristol St. — Queen for a Day — A Regal Themed Mother’s Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9. $45 per adult and $22.50 for children ages 5 to 12. The mother will be greeted by royal palace guards and trumpets as she walks down a red carpet aisle. There will be a photographer for family portraits centered on the mother’s throne. There will also be prizes to win. The food is made to order and includes Belgian waffles, fish, steak, ham, crab, shrimp, pasta, salad and deserts.

Ayres Hotel & Suites, 325 Bristol St., Costa Mesa — Mother’s Day Brunch, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 9. It costs $35.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids. Entrée and dessert will be served along with sparkling wine, mimosas and fresh orange juice.

Pinot Provence, 686 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa — Mother’s Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 9. $48 for adults and $15 for kids under 12.

Five Crowns, 3801 E. Coast Hwy., Corona del Mar — Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner-Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. for $21 to $52 and dinner starts after 3 p.m., which ranges from $33 to $52.

21 Oceanfront, 2100 W. Oceanfront, Newport Beach — Mother’s Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9, costing $65 per adult and $20 per children ages 3 to 7, plus tax and gratuity.

South Coast Winery’s Orange County Restaurant, Bristol Street and MacArthur Boulevard — Mother’s Day Brunch with a carving station, omelet station, cold displays, seafood, side dish and dessert for $36 per adults and 17.99 per child.

Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa — Mother’s Day Brunch, May 9, comes with a free chef’s dessert and complimentary photo for every mom.

Royal Khyber Fine Indian Cuisine, 1621 W. Sunflower Ave., Santa Ana — Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be protein-enhanced tandoori breads, appetizer, rice, breads, fruits, dessert, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Scott’s Seafood, 3300 Bristol St., Costa Mesa — Will have an a la carte brunch and a family–style dining at night for $25 per person.
