Kaenon Polarized to Host Second Annual “SUP for a Pup” Fundraiser and Adoption Event

This Saturday, May 1st, Kaenon Polarized will be hosting the second annual SUP (Stand Up Paddle) for a Pup event. With the mission of raising money for local animal rescue operation A Wish For Animals (AWFA), local surf and Stand Up Paddle companies will be selling samples of their products with a portion of the proceeds going directly to AWFA. Dogs seeking their forever homes will be onsite, and special gift bags and discounts will be offered to approved families who adopt dogs the day of the event.

Onsite vendors will include Kaenon Polarized, Olukai, Surftech, Hinano, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Surfline.com, Stand Up Paddle Magazine among others.

Last year’s first annual SUP for a Pup proved to be an extremely successful event that not only raised critical funds for AWFA—over $7,000—but also established new forever homes for 20 adoptable dogs that were onsite.

Entry is free, and food, beverages and products will be sold with a portion of the proceeds going directly to AWFA. An opportunity drawing will be held, featuring items from local pet boutiques, apparel, eyewear, dog services, and more. All families will be pre-qualified for adoptions onsite.
