Margery (Marge) Lou Flynn

Marge Flynn passed away on May 8, 2010, at

Hoag Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded

by family and her dear friend and companion,

Bill Johnson.

Margery Vantyne was born on December 7,

1937 in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from

Grant High School in 1955. She married D.

Thomas (Tom) Flynn in 1958 and moved to

Pomona in 1960 and to Alta Loma in 1979.

She has been a resident of Newport Beach since

1993. Margie loved to travel and relax at the

Beach. Margie adored her grandchildren and

loved to entertain her many long-time friends.

Margery was preceded in her death by her

Father Al Vantyne, Mother Helene Bishop

Vantyne and husband D. Thomas Flynn. She

is survived by her son, Scott and wife Laura,

daughter Kelly, grandchildren Ashley, James

and Megan and sisters Kathy Vantyne and

Debbie Miner.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at the

Newport Coast Community Center, 6401 San

Joaquin Hills Rd., Newport Coast, CA 92657

on Sunday, May 16th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
