John Pierce

John Pierce of Newport Beach, California passed away on Monday, November 29th at the age of 66 years old. Born in Hartford, CT, John graduated from Hanover College before serving as a Captain in the Marines which included a 2 year tour in Vietnam. John’s military service concluded in Southern California where he launched a long and prolific career in commercial real estate brokerage during which he earned the nickname “Deal-a-Day Pierce.”

John’s success extended well beyond business, as his enthusiasm and passion for life seeded the friendships he enjoyed with so many. He loved people and was the consummate cheerleader for not only his business associates and friends, but for his children as well.

John was very involved in all aspects of his children’s lives from soccer coach to life coach.

John is survived by his wife, Maureen and her two children John Somers & Cece Somers; John’s wife, Michelle Somers and their two children Jack and Annie Somers. John is also survived by his son Hunter Pierce; son Graham Pierce, Graham’s wife Meesh Joslyn Pierce, and their son Grayson Pierce; son Justin Pierce, Justin’s wife Kristen Vitti Pierce, and their son Noah Pierce; his daughter Ansley Pierce; and his brothers George Pierce and Bill Pierce.

The memorial service is to be held on Monday, December 6th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Newport Beach. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wounded Warrior Project <www.woundedwarriorproject.org>
