Workshop focuses on people in business

Newport Beach business people can attend a free workshop sponsored by the city and OPIS Network, a business training organization.

The first event is Jan. 22, at the Oasis Senior Center, 801 Narcissus Ave., Corona del Mar. It begins a series of seminars called Helping 100 Businesses for 100 Days.

The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with an optional boxed lunch networking session until 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided with advance reservations at https://www.help100days.com or by calling (949) 371-5811.
