Helen “Shirley” Mahr

Shirley passed away peacefully with her devoted husband Austin by her side. Born in Los Angeles, she attended Dorsey High School; Holmby Hills College; and the University of Oregon. Shirley owned a gift shop on Balboa Island before she met and married Austin Mahr. They were married for 62 years and lived in Los Angeles and later Newport Beach. She leaves behind her beloved husband, one sister, two daughters, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
