Celebration continues for Little League World Series champions
The celebration for the Ocean View Little League All-Stars continues. The Little League World Series champions are set to visit the California state legislature, where they will be honored and given a Senate Resolution on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.
State senator Tom Harmon and other legislators will present the team and coaches with a Senate Resolution congratulating them on their achievement.
The team will be recognized at the start of the senate session scheduled to begin at noon.
There’s more in store for the OV All-Stars, who won the World Series title with a thrilling 2-1 win over Japan on Sunday. The players and coaches will be recognized during a special pre-game ceremony at Angel Stadium before the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play against the Twins Saturday.
The City of Huntington Beach will also provide a celebration for the Ocean View team with a parade on Sept. 10.
