Newport caregiver arrested on suspicion of elder abuse
A caregiver was arrested after she became angry and threw a glass table top on the floor, injuring her 95-year-old Newport Beach client, police said Thursday.
Tuul Banzragch, 35 of Newport Beach, was arrested after the victim called his family to tell them his arm was cut in the incident, said Newport Beach spokeswoman Kathy Lowe.
The family members called police, Lowe said.
Police responded to the 2100 block of Vista Dorado about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday and found the injured man.
Banzragch was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse.
