Toys collected will go to SPIN

The Newport Beach Recreation and Senior Services Department is collecting toys for the Costa Mesa-based nonprofit Serving People in Need.

Donors can bring wrapped toys appropriate for children — from infants to 17 years old. The toys will be given to children of Orange County’s homeless and working-poor families.

Donations can be made at the department office at City Hall, 3300 Newport Blvd., by Dec. 14.
