Police seek couple suspected in credit card thefts
Laguna Beach police are searching for a man and woman suspected of stealing credit cards from parked cars, then using the cards at south Orange County stores.
On Feb. 3, the couple reportedly stole credit cards from vehicles in Laguna Beach and used them at Albertson’s in Laguna Beach, Wal-Mart in Laguna Niguel and CVS in Dana Point, according to Laguna Beach police.
The female suspect is described as white, in her mid-20s, approximately 5-foot-3 and 120 pounds. The male suspect is described as in his mid-20s, approximately 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds. According to surveillance footage, he appears to have an upper chest tattoo.
Police said the suspects were seen in a black 2006-2010 model Volkswagen Jetta.
